Project outline
COVID-19 has changed the way we live and work. These changes may cause frustration, stress and anxiety and impact our mental health. Bereavement, isolation, loss of income and fear are triggering mental health conditions or exacerbating existing ones. Public health actions, such as social distancing, are necessary to reduce the spread of COVID-19, but they can make us feel isolated and lonely and can increase stress and anxiety.
This design background provokes us to think about the various interactive applications and systems that could help people healthily cope with stress. It's best to eliminate emotional problems at the source when people first start, thus effectively preventing the mental illness from happening.

Problem Statement
During brainstorming to focus on a problem area, we considered that mental health has never been a minor issue but one that we all need to take seriously. Especially under the circumstances of the worldwide pandemic the Covid-19. According to the research, the pandemic has disrupted or halted critical mental health services in 93% of countries worldwide, while the demand for mental health is increasing. Hence we come up with the problem statement:
How to improve and maintain mental health during COVID-19?
Research
User Research Methods
Both Qualitative and Quantitative user research methods were conducted here to understand our users' motivations and behaviours during the Covid-19 circumstances. Hence find out our criteria for success to create a user-centric design that can best solve the problem.
